Pet’s ER Announcement:
Attention to all referring veterinarians:
Effective immediately we will be changing our protocol for seeing non-urgent emergencies. Due to the overwhelming amount of critical and sick pets we are seeing, in addition to the non-urgent cases the hospital is feeling the pressure. In an effort to relieve the pressure on the doctors and staff trying to maintain hospitalized patient care and incoming critical pets we are limiting the amount of non-urgent we can see at a time. If a pet comes in with one of the following:
Level III Non-Urgent: Ear infections Torn toenails Bandage changes Skin Issues Sneezing Nasal discharge Anal Glands Diarrhea (no vomiting/still eating) – ask level of diarrhea issue Limping (unless hit by a car or suffering from bleeding wounds/laceration)
they will be informed that they have come in with a non-urgent emergency and that due to us triaging the most critical they can potentially have to wait anywhere from 4-6 hours to be seen. We also will not be seeing any non-urgent emergencies from 10 pm – 10 AM. If someone calls or comes in between those times they will be told to return during the 10 AM – 10 PM window, unless the DVM on staff is caught up on all critical cases and can efficiently see the pet. We are not turning anyone away, just trying to limit the number of non-urgent emergencies we can see at a time.
If you could please inform any non-urgent emergencies you refer to us of this information that would be greatly appreciated. We appreciate your understanding and continued support as we all navigate these busier times.

We were referred to this clinic by a local vet who felt our dog's care might require a review by Dr. Staruch. She is very kind, very definitive and an excellent surgeon. Her staff were all respectful and thoughtful and understanding in caring for our 15 year old dog. The office is very new, spotless, and technology is cutting edge.
Jan B on Yelp > “Dr. Richards, Dr. Staruch, and Dr. Wheeler have been nothing less than AMAZING for our fur babies and our family. The professionalism, care, and compassion shown by every member of the clinic exceeds my expectations in every way.
Don W. on Facebook > “They are always so happy & kind to our pup that he runs in to see them & get his yummy treats. All the staff are kind & loving to our little guy.
Rocky L. on Google > “Best place if your pet is part of your family! Loving and knowledgeable with all the necessary equipment to help your pets! This place is also cleaner than most hospitals. Staff is fabulous! Highly Recommend!
